What it does
Three jobs, one app. Each part is independent — bring a recipe in, plan a week, run the grocery list, cook through it, and the pantry deducts itself.
Lay out breakfast through dinner across seven days. Set servings per meal. Mix favourites with new finds, or generate something fresh from a one-line craving.
Track what’s in your fridge, freezer, and shelves with shelf-life-aware expiry. Every recipe shows how much you already have. The grocery list subtracts it before suggesting what to buy.
Snap your haul on the counter or scan a printed receipt. The app reads each item, suggests an expiry, and drops the lot into your pantry in one tap. No typing.
Generated lists round to real package sizes and flag waste risk before it hits your bin. Less guessing at the store, less rotting in the fridge.
Mark a recipe public and it joins the community Discover feed; save anyone’s public recipe into your own library. Report and block tools keep the feed honest.
Pricing
Every feature works in the free tier, including the AI extractor, generator, and smart-list rounding. A small daily AI budget per account keeps usage costs in check.

IdeaGen is a small independent operation registered in Malaysia. We build software we’d want to use ourselves, with a strong stance on privacy and a hard limit on how much our products will pester you. No social graphs, no engagement loops — just tools that earn their keep.
